Cross-country skiing in the Aletsch Arena – your high-altitude trail paradise above 2,000 meters
The Aletsch Arena is a true high-altitude paradise for cross-country enthusiasts: Whether classic or skating – beginners and advanced skiers alike will find ideal conditions on three perfectly groomed trails between Bettmeralp, Riederalp, and Fieschertal. All trails are completely free to use.
– Bettmeralp: Around 2 km of easy high-altitude trail along the shores of Lake Bettmersee
– Riederalp: Approx. 1 km with classic and parallel skating tracks on the Riederalp golf course
– Fieschertal: Nearly 4 km of varied valley trail for both classic and skating styles
This gives you a total of about 7 km of groomed trails. You can rent your cross-country skiing equipment (skis, boots, poles) on site at local sports shops.
